It’s hard to predict the exact number, but we’ll have between 80-100 attendees split up between either 2 or 3 concurrent sessions. That means you’ll have anywhere from 20 to 50 attendees, depending on your target audience. Check the Concurrent Sessions schedule to see whether you’re sharing a time slot with 1 or 2 other workshops.
The business center at the Whitney Peak Hotel is under renovation and may be unavailable. There are two computers in the lobby with printers if you need to print just a couple of pages (e.g. boarding passes). For numerous copies (e.g. workshop handouts), you’ll need to bring your own or find a print/copy service center outside the Hotel.
You may do so, at your own expense. Alternatively, you may provide digital (PDF) versions of your handouts and slides which participants can access on their own computers.
In general, we recommend that you provide your content digitally if possible (to save paper), and only print hard copies if they’re required during your workshop.

Each room is different.
Cargo and Granite will be set up in a “classroom” style with long (6′) tables, 2 chairs per table, facing the screen. There is a podium in both of these rooms. The tables and chairs are movable if needed.
Alpine has a single, large conference room table and some additional chairs around the perimeter of the room. There is no podium.
If your workshop relies on a specific room layout, please notify us as soon as possible so that your session monitor can arrive early to rearrange tables and chairs before the room fills up with participants.

Tentative room assignments are shown on the Concurrent Sessions schedule, but the specific rooms are still subject to change.
The Hotel will provide cables to connect your laptop to the room projector. These include HDMI and/or VGA connections. (Cargo only has an HDMI connection.) If your laptop doesn’t have a built-in VGA or HDMI port, please bring the necessary adapter.
Packages may be delivered to the Hotel no more than three (3) business days prior to the Conference. All packages, boxes and/or materials received by the Hotel will be assessed a $5.00 handling fee, per item, that should be billed to your individual guestroom upon receipt.
If you are not staying at the Hotel guestroom and you need a package delivered, please make prior arrangements (by email) so the package can be securely delivered to our co-host’s address.

When we request your affiliation, we are asking for where you work. Affiliations will be listed next to each person’s name in the conference program and on your name tag. If you work for more than one employer, choose your most important affiliation. If you are self-employed and do not have a name for your business, you may list your affiliation as ‘Independent Contractor.’ You may list an agency as your affiliation, but please do not use the name of the institution where your agency provides services.
If you are unable to present or you need to change your list of co-presenters, please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org so that we may revise the agenda as soon as possible.
Our Schedule is pretty full now, which is great! However, we may still be able to make room for another session or perhaps add you to the pre-conference schedule, especially if you are presenting about a technology-related topic. Contact us by email as soon as possible.
